Biography

Kelly Haisan graduated with honors from East Stroudsburg University majoring in communication studies and minoring in English.  She is an aspiring writer with three books out on the market entitled "The Bottom of the Ninth" "Box Score of Violence" and "Origin of the Rose."  Her articles have appeared in "The Stroud Courier" and "The Blue Valley Times."  She has started her own magazine about haunted and abandoned sites in the Poconos.  Dedicated to the fine art of writing, she has traveled all avenues of fiction, non-fiction and poetry.

When she is not writing, she is in charge of the website and social media marketing for Stroudsburg ShopRite Partners in Caring, the fight against hunger in the community.  While in school she took ballet, jazz, tap, baton, and clarinet lessons.  She joined computer club, ski club, poetry club and chorus.  Nowadays, she is learning to speak French, play guitar and cook like a chopped champion.
